WEIZMANN INSTITUTE — Engineering The Future Of Science

Scroll to explore

The Weizmann Institute's Physics Core Facilities approached us to reimagine their digital presence — a platform serving cutting-edge scientists across the globe. The challenge: communicate world-class engineering services with clarity, authority, and a sense of wonder.

We crafted a bold digital experience that blends scientific precision with visual storytelling — making complex facilities and services feel both accessible and inspiring.

THE CHALLENGE

The PCF's existing platform was outdated and difficult to navigate — failing to reflect the calibre of research and engineering happening inside. Scientists needed a clear entry point to book, understand, and trust the facilities. We were asked to create something that felt less like a directory and more like an invitation to the future of science.

THE APPROACH

We began with deep discovery — interviewing researchers, facility managers, and institute leadership. The insight: scientists want to trust before they book. From this, we built a credibility-first architecture: every page leads with expertise, and every section reinforces the institute's commitment to enabling breakthrough research.

THE OUTCOME

Launched in early 2024, the new platform saw a 58% increase in facility booking requests and a 41% reduction in support inquiries — researchers could now find what they needed without assistance. The site became a benchmark for how scientific institutions communicate excellence online.
